New Book For Sale! A Collector's Guide To Estee Lauder Solid Perfumes 2002 – 2015

For the last 10 years I have been researching and learning about Estée Lauder collectible solid perfume compacts. During these years I have met many dedicated collectors. These are collectors that are spread out all over the world. Collectors look for any and all information about these beautiful compacts but there are a very limited number of resources for this information. I have only found a few good resources. One of these is the previously published book listing all the solid perfumes from 1967 to 2001, there are some websites that are run by collectors and eBay.

After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to create an educational book that will bring the collectors needed information on the Estée Lauder solid perfume compacts from 2002 to the present 2015. Now the collectors will have a reference to see what they want or need in order to complete their collections. In this educational guide you will find the name of the solid, the scent it holds and the original cost of the solid when it was released.

Thanks Woody. I have already gotten a lot of great reviews on this book. The powder compact book is at the printer now and will be available in about a week. This one will include all the EL powder compacts from 1963 to the present and there are a few special goodies to.

Hi everyone,

 

I just got the books from a friend of mine.

I’m very much astonished that 99% of the pics in the powder compact book are taken or you could call it stolen from my Homepage.

Ann had use some of these pics years ago for her selling items on eBay and I had told her that these pics were taken from a professional Photographer and that he had the Copyright on them.

Now I see them all in the book.

Both these pages have been created over 15 years ago with pics that I had taken myself and then in 2003 I had a professional photographer taken them all and had to pay ten thousands of $ for them.

 

You may conceive your own opinion on this by checking the pics of my Homepage and those from the book.

 

I just wanted to make things clear.

 

Since the beginning all my site have been public and everyone could look at them.

I’m sorry Brigitte but you are mistaken. My books are registered with the copyright office. Now I wonder why you would have gotten the books from a friend instead of getting them from me like everyone else? Very strange.

 

As for the pictures you say I tried to use once before, we had gone over that and I purchased a collection from a man named Bliley and he send me a disk of pictures with the collection purchased. “sigh” we had gone over this years and years ago.

 

Also have you seen Pinterest lately? There are so many pictures from your side, this site, my photos on ebay, and everyone elses. Do you ever wonder why no one is complaining about that or even trying to stop it? Again, very strange.

There’s no reason for me to defend myself, as you and I know exactly the truth and where the original pics come from..

I had no need to buy your books, as I’ve had all the pics since years on my homepage, but a friend of mine gave them to me as a present.

Everyone can make her/his own opinion.

All my pics were taken in 2003/2004 and most of the pics in your book are the very same ones.

Hi Ann,

I’m very much upset with your book as you had used my pictures without my permission.    

You had used my the pictures in August of 2016 for selling your compacts on eBay, I reported you to VERO program using my copy right images to sell your items without my permission (Notice SR# 1-83180962941).  Upon VERO requested eMail, you removed my images and apologized for doing so.  About a month ago, one of the collectors left me a message that you are using my photos in your book that you are selling on eBay.  I found two listings of your book on eBay,  item numbers:  252697308179, 252677426071.   I sent you an email on December 11 and asked you to send me a copy of your book, however you refused to do so.  Your book is made up of photos with different backgrounds and almost all of them were taken from other collectors, eBay listings and Brigitte’s website without permission.   All of your pictures in your book have a different backgrounds because all of them are stolen from the others.  You do not have the ability or style to write, you just took the others collectors pictures and placed them by the year they were issued by Estee Lauder in your book.  You are not clever to do so.  Shame on you!
