THE U.K. CHAPTER OF THE IPBA IS BEING HELD IN LONDON ON 22ND AND
23RD OCTOBER 2005.

ARRANGEMENTS ARE IN HAND FOR A COACH OUTING ON THE 21ST OCTOBER (FRIDAY) TO WINDSOR CASTLE AND RUNNYMEAD. ALL DETAILS ARE NOT
YET AVAILABLE BUT THERE IS MENTION OF A COST OF £30. I HAVE ASKED
IF THIS WILL INCLUDE LUNCH. ALL DETAILS YET TO BE ADVISED.

I would like to add here, and I think it is important to do so, that Estee Lauder Head Office in the U.K. have done everything possible to help with this event
i.e. supplying samples etc., No negativity has been involved whatsoever!

WOULD LOVE TO HEAR WHO WILL BE COMING AND WHETHER ANY OF OUR FRIENDS IN EUROPE WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND.

IT WOULD BE REALLY GREAT IF MORE OF YOU WERE TO COME. I KNOW IT ISN'T
LAS VEGAS BUT IT IS AN EXCUSE TO VISIT LONDON! IF YOU ARE DESPERATE

Now that would be another idea for the solids, all the Crown Jewels. although I

don't think it will happen, as BIG MO from (Harrods) does not see eye to eye

with PHILIP (The Queens sidekick).

If I had been in the country, I would have invited you all for tea as I am only

fifteen minutes from Windsor, although there are some really good tea rooms in

the road that runs alongside the castle.

If the weather is anything like today, you will need your shorts and tops, but in

another months time maybe macs and wellies!

Hope you all enjoy the convention, and that you have a good time, wish I was

there with you.

It is hoped that more collectors from here would like to come to
London for the event!

The Windsor Trip, if there are sufficient able to partake, will begin at 12 noon and
finish around 7 p.m.

There will be a presention by Annette Martin (Bath Aqua) 'Beautiful Bottles made the old fashioned way'

and also a Presention by Jan Burke 'buying and selling on the internet'.

We will also have the opportunity to see the DVD of Christie Mayer Lefkowiths presentation at the Dallas Convention……

these are just a few items which will hopefully be taking place! More later as this is just a rough idea of what will be happening…

Plus the opportunity to meet other collectors and to enjoy a few days in London or Paris or anywhere you would like to visit. Remember the Eurostar from Waterloo Station takes you direct to Paris and Brussels etc. No flying, just sit back and relax and let the train take the strain!

Can we tempt you? IPBA MEMBERS can register through the WEBSITE AND PAY BY PAYPAL……that should make things easier!

Sorry Jackie, I'll be passing the Americans mid-air. I will be in Vegas in October and not back in time for the convention. I can't help the timing as it was down to hotel availability!!!
I haven't been to Windsor, what a shame I'd have loved that!

Oh Nancy! I know it isn't Vegas, but it is such a shame that timings
conflict…..anyway have a good trip but will see you before then I
hope.

Meanwhile, I meant to add, and maybe I did, so forgive me for repeating
myself..that Estee Lauder, U.K. have really come up trumps in helping this
year.

Do hope some of our friends from Europe will try and make the trip????

For anyone who will be joining the Convention in LONDON, U.K. and arriving at Heathrow, the pick up bus to the hotel, runs on a half hourly basis. There is another route into London from the hotel from
the Railway Station nearby(Hayes & Harlington Station). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes into Paddington Station which is central London.

For any newcomers to the site please check on the link for details of the programmes for Saturday and Sunday, 22ND AND 23RD OCTOBER. A special programme has been laid on for those arriving on the Friday, 21ST OCTOBER.
