Thanks so much for the compliment, but I’m really no genius. A genius would have had Linda turn off her Norton as a first test rather than put her through all I did. However, if anyone with WinXP needs diagnostic information, feel free to print it out! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
On the other hand, if anyone with Win95, 98 or 00 tried it and ended up with a “black screen” that has nothing except a “C Prompt”, simply hit enter (that will take you down one line) and type in:
C:win Then hit the enter key.
That will throw you back into the Windows functionality and get you out of DOS.
About the only other thing I can do with Windows is restore the registry if it becomes corrupt, but keep it under your hat! ![[Silly]](graemlins/silly.gif)
