Thinking about the numbers also takes me back to a post I seem to remember about solids being sent to stores on one coast then they gradually make their way to the other coast. Well, if they send mumbered items to stores, wouldn’t collectors want the lower numbers, so the stores who get them in first would be the ones inundated with buyers who would be using every means possible to get that No. 1? They would be the stores with the huge lists and the ones on the opposite coast would have none. (Am I thinking about this too hard???)
What would you do to get that No 1? What means (fair or foul) would you use? Would you even turn one down because it was a high number, turn your nose up at it. Or…. would you try to get No 1 and No 100 of an edition of 100? Sorry, I’m getting carried away. (some people think I should be!)It must be late, time for bed!
