Thought this old Antique would write a few words!
Dashed to an Antique Vintage Fair on Sunday early morning before having to dash off elsewhere. They charged, for this particular show in the U.K. £4.00 Sterling for entry. Managed to get complimentary tickets, one left for Nancy (which they must have mislaid). Anyway, all I wanted to add was the fact that I have been to alot of these shows and never ever found anything! My contact there has the Golden Quilt Compact, if anyone is looking for it and also, the Moon Silver necklace. It is in good condition but doesn’t ‘click’ to close. Hope you understand me. She also has some beautiful Evans compacts but I am not going down that road!
So, when I read about all your finds, I think that is great and would love the opportunity to search around in your part of the world! Have even been in Paris, searching, but not found a dickie bird!!!! Nancy you can explain that one!
My only find has been my hexagonal blue enamel powder compact with the portrait in the centre, dating from the 70’s. I suppose that one was made for me!
