Hi Mimi,
We have 4 . They are rescued kitties. We take in older cats that no one wants or they have a medical problem. Our local vet beleves that if a cat can be saved Ann can do it(its a sob story that I always fall for).
The last kitty we got the owners had on drugs because it was so mean and the drugs were not working anymore. She is now drug free and a happy cat. She adopted Ken and waits by the door for him. Phyco.
One is a peke face persian that was a show cat and got to old to show and has a heart condition .
We have had her for 3 years now and she was only expected to live a few months when we got her.
She is a princess and knows it. Topaz Jazz.
Our youngest cat was found in a drainage ditch and could not use his back legs . After lots of therapy he is a happy cat with full use of his legs. Lucky Scrunch. He thinks he is a tiger.
Last one, Miss Kitty, painfully shy and no one wanted her . We have ,after 4 years, got her to let us pet her. Someone was mean to her in her past and she has trust issues.

We also have 3 rescued birds. Bert & Ernie , cockitails and baby bird a parakeet.
