Boy, I’m missing this site bad. I loved seeing all the solids talk and reading all the topics and getting to know everyone. If anyone is on Facebook, I have a page Solid Perfume Collectors. It’s just my collection and I post about once a month. Please come check it out. I miss you Lisa and Jack. Thank you for keeping up the site! ,

Hi Jack and Lisa! I hope you are both well. Any chance that the site will be updating pics in the database again to cover up to 2014? There are gaps with recent solid perfume releases. I really use the my collection portion of this site to keep up with my solids and I have some of the newer ones, but can’t enter them. I would hope it could stimulate activity here too. Thank you both for all your super work!!!

Here is one of the three released for 2014. The EL Pleasures Charming Bow pendant sold perfume compact at saks!

Hi petals! I am not sure either what has happened. I see that there are new members joining on the site page. Welcome if you are a new member!! I do think Facebook has stolen some, but not all the thunder. I am still collecting but haven’t done much due to my dad going into hospice end of life care. I am glad to see you my familiar friend!!

I was surprised that no one commented on the 2014 holiday releases. Bridgette where are you! I miss her picture postings. I did see the high heel sandal, unsure of the name, released at saks. I made the mistake of not purchasing it right away and it sold out very quickly! It was super cute!! I hope the ester lauder folks know we are still here and still love the solids as much as ever. I really thought the three presented by Aerin Lauder for breast cancer last year were very wearable and fun for a great cause!

Petals and newbies I will try to pop in with more posts. If you are new be sure to check out past posts on care of your solid perfumes, aging and no they are not really refillable. The info can help you enjoy collecting our beautiful solid perfumes!

    Hi Sandra-

I am betting everyone is too busy shopping for solids! LOL!

Thank you for keeping up the group talk! It is way too quiet here. I hope Lisa is recovered and doing well. I have been completing the sale of my home. I have found my dream home that I hope to be in by May 1st-5th! And yes, I will have a very large room for my solid perfumes and their displays! I haven't been able to add any to my collection right now as the important thing is the home downpayment! But boy I have missed collecting and talking solids with everyone!

I am on facebook for anyone who is interested. I am “solid perfume collector” if you would like to friend me. I also have a group page solid perfume collectors if you would like to check out my page and all the photos of my solid perfume collection. I collect all brands of solid perfumes.

I love that you got to meet Ann and Ken! I hope to someday. I love their solid perfume vignette pictures! They are so talented with their photos and displays. I wish them a wonderful vacation. I am looking forward to next years IPBA convention in Spartanburg SC and am already prepping to go. I hope to see other solid perfume lovers there!

    Blessings to everyone!

OMG I am shocked no one is scooping this up! I still have Lucky Hand Mint with both gold and white boxes. I really would like this to go to a solid perfume collector and not to ebay. Hope everyone has a super Veteran's Day weekend!

Congrats on the Panda! Does anyone posess the Imperial Frog that was mentioned in R.Gerson's book?? I wondered if someone in our group does. I would love to see a picture of that one too!

As for new solids… well I got the violin minus bow! LOL as you might have noticed in my post! But the great new one I found is the Aliage Heart Necklace MIOB. The gold wire choker is a might bit tight. The white heart is larger than I expected, but it is an awesome addition to my collection. I love finding the older solids in their original boxes. I also finally got the Sparkling 2001 champagne bucket which is very pretty MIbb.

    Happy Hunting to us all!

    Hello Jennifer,

I saw the auction and noticed the violin did not have the bow as the price was too good to be true (although it does happen at times)….. If I find a bow here I will let you know.

    Now I will bow out…. x

Thanks… I think a late night and medicines got the best of me on that auction! LOL! Thank you for keeping an eye out for me!

    Cheers!

Well I hope you feel better and have renewed strength. Being sick is the pits. Trust me. With my chronic condition, I know how it sucks to be not feeling good. So I empathize with you!

I am glad you are back to work, but remember to take it easy and take things one bite at a time. My dad has a saying, the only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time! Which is really fitting today because I received in the mail the Lucky Elephant! Very cute!

I haven't been doing much collecting lately. In fact, I had an emergency appendectomy three weeks ago. I didn't have the strength to pull up ebay!

UGH! I am so sorry to hear that. Is there anything you need? I don't know where you live but I can mail out chicken noodle soup if you are not near Jax. Are you hurting bad? I have never had that surgery…knock on wood that I don't ever need to have it. Prayers and best wishes for a quick recovery. If you just need a friend to chat with to listen about what a pain it is to be sick I am willing and able to be here for you. My phone number is cell 904-422-9780. I always love talking with fellow solid perfume collectors.

    Blessings and hugs-

Happy Birthday and you do deserve a great birthday…not for gifting solids and boxes, but because you are a special person!!

I hope it is a very happy birthday full of blessings and joys for you!

    Jennifer in Jax

I sent a message to you via the message system regarding the boxes. Thank you as this is a very very sweet thing to do for solid perfume collectors!!

Alright are none of you posting anymore? I have to think that all the Estee solids are being scooped up by some of you and you just aren't celebrating on this site… where are all the collectors?

So anyway my cowboy rode into my home today and I am hoping for a cowgirl soon to follow. He is a handsome little guy!

    Hope everyone is doing well!

The Showgirl is here and she is gorgeous! Very detailed and my most expensive solids to date! I realized she is perched on a pile of blue and green “las vegas” chips.

The lucky hand is not as flashy as the showgirl but a fun addition to the vegas solids!
