Hello, ladymasham,

I believe you are probably referring to the 2009 Private Collection Amber Ylang Ylang compact which was gold, rectangular and had different colored stones on it? I saw a picture of it on esteelauder.com but it was sold out. You may be able to find it at one of Cosmetic Company Stores located in the Premier Outlet centers throughout the US or at the Estee store if you live in New York. Or maybe the description will jog one of our member's memories?!

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I am just getting used to the website. Most of my solids are Strongwaters and they are in a glass display case. I was just trying to locate one of these to use. I started to collect these when my parents died since my father was a perfumer and helped to develop a lot of scents for Estee Lauder.

I saw a ylang ylang solid compact on ebay yesterday. I don't know if it's still there. Just search for Estee Lauder Ylang Ylang and I'm sure you'll find the auction!

Hi Petals,

I only started to collect the solid perfume compacts after my mother died (2005). She collected antique enamel boxes so I decided with her passion for enamel boxes and my father's connection with Estee Lauder perfume I would collect the Jay Strongwater compacts as a tribute to the two of them. Therefore, my collection is not very big, only around 30 + compacts total ( a couple of non-Strongwaters thrown in). I just love them all. I did get an Amber Ylang Ylang compact thru one of the members. Thanks so much.
