I didn't pay much attention to this auction until it was over. No wonder it went so low!
Wonder how the stones got so discolored? Add this to same list as the brown slot machine.RonMemberNovember 3, 2004 at 2:20 amPost count: 213
It's OK for the ice crystals on the champagne buckets to discolor, its OK for the Stuart Weitzman shoes to discolor and its OK for the Slot Machine to turn color(technically its not OK). But Swarovski crystals should never turn color!
Who knows, maybe the originals stones have been re-glued with improper glue OR replaced with inferior stones.LisaMemberNovember 3, 2004 at 2:48 amPost count: 2664
Yucky!! I think the perfume seeped out somehow. <img src='style_emoticons//blink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’blink.gif’ />DeniseMemberNovember 3, 2004 at 11:41 pmPost count: 285
I almost bid on this Compact until I saw that the Crystals turned color, Ron you are right about the stones.
I still wonder why EL hasn't come up with the reason why the plastic on the other compacts turned color… <img src='style_emoticons//rolleyes.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’rolleyes.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//rolleyes.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’rolleyes.gif’ />RonMemberNovember 4, 2004 at 4:58 pmPost count: 213
I believe this item was relisted. I talked to some members who purchased a solid exactly like this and told me that the crystals were discolored. They were fortunate
enough that the seller let them return it.
Lisa, perfume cleans off the crystals very easy.
