    One thing to mention.
Of course I do not have so many solids yet. But I'll try to have one(s) according to your recommendations! So, please do not mind whether I have the specific solid now or not.

    Hello Erica, this is a difficult one to follow! <img src='style_emoticons//unsure.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’unsure.gif’ />

I would, personally, not put 'food related solids' in my 'bathroom' as I do not feel they belong together i.e. the bathroom and food! If anything at all, I would put some flowers!

Also, remember there will be condensation in the bathroom from the hot water which would not be good for the solids!

Just thought of something! <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ /> Your toilet might be separate from the bathroom? Without going into specifics, my bathroom and toilet are combined.

    Well that's a good Solid question? <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />

Erica, an idea for a bathroom could be shells, fish, frogs etc. I might put the empty solids of this type there, but not the ones with perfume intact! Other Collectors will no doubt have different ideas and suggestions!

Hi Erica, that's an interesting concept and like Jacky, I personally wouldn't put any of my Solids in my bathroom either. Perhaps your bathroom is set up differently compared to mine (my bath, toilet, and sink are in 1 room). I keep flowering plants in my bathroom.

    Jacky, you crack me up! LOL! <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

I should have explained that my toilet is separate from bathroom. So there would be no trouble with hot water, as Jacqueline mentions.

So as you do not have to worry about condensation and you have the shelf space, you could make up a different scene whenever you felt the urge to do so!

That's the bottom line from me on the subject! <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ /> Erica, will explain the meaning in private email.

Meanwhile, our other Collectors will no doubt go with the flow!

Am editing this as I just had a thought! If you had an Aquarium like Ken and Ann's picture and if the shelf was wide enough, that could work in the confines of a small room? Their UnderWater Treasure Picture, or KK's Beach in the Members Photo Gallery. I did ask them if it was an Aquarium, but think it is something they have done with a sheet of perspex. Perhaps they will read and reply. This was just an idea…

    Erica – a strange concept for me too . . . . solids in the toilet (room). <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ />

I think that the solids should be seen and admired in a room that's not just visited for 'those moments'. <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ />

    Consider lighting, space 'fung shui' energy etc. please! <img src='style_emoticons//blink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’blink.gif’ />

I apologize if I made some of you upset about the solids to display in my toilet room. What I wanted to do is just putting 2 or 3 solids compacts at the corner of the shelf. Yes, the flowers(including Cactus too) maybe nice.

Since I have no other space to display them all now and do not have so many solids yet, it is my pleasure to 'imagine' how these solids can be displayed (in the future…), as many of you show at Members Photos. I admire and love these photos! I wish I had good senses as you do.

    Erica,

Maybe a cameo would be nice in your bathroom. It's a very feminine solid. One in coral would go with your green decor. Also, the Puppy in a Tub might be fun. <img src='style_emoticons//tongue.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’tongue.gif’ />

Good luck, and let us know what you finally decide.

Erica you did not upset ANYONE with what you wrote!

As I explained to you, this could be a subject where a little humour could be included….

I think Martha's idea of the Cameo is really nice too.

Yep – I agree, go with Martha's idea – a cameo in the bathroom/toilet room.

Hi Erica, you didn't upset anyone, please don't think that.

I think Martha's idea of a Puppy in a Tub would go well, especially if you bought a Wall Cabinet or Wall Glass Curio that you could hang on the wall to display the Solids. Let me know what you think.

    Hi Erica,

Well I have to admit that I have some of my perfume solids on display in my powder room. I have an octagon shaped vitrine hanging on the wall above the commode that contains my shopping-themed solids. One of these days, I'll post a picture of it (of the solids, not the commode <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> ).

    Good luck!

    Hi Erica,
My bathroom was the first place I displayed my solids. Actually it's more the the vanity in my dressing room. My toilet is in a room by itself <img src='style_emoticons//huh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’huh.gif’ />
I use a pink marble disk. I think it was a cheese board from a gift basket? <img src='style_emoticons//unsure.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’unsure.gif’ /> Anyway, I put it on the white tile on the vanity and put my very favorite solids on it and change them out from time to time.
Some times I use a beveled mirror on the counter. Since you have just a few I would display all of them in your bath area and enjoy them <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />
Once you get everything fixed up the way you like it take a photo and post it for us to enjoy. <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />
    KK <img src='style_emoticons//wub.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wub.gif’ />
