    Hi Everyone,

I've really enjoyed the make-up suggestions. I will try the BB cuticle treatment and the refrigerated Visine. I really do try to take care of my skin.

I use EL and Yves St. Laurent. I wash my face with generic stuff. My favorite toner is Suave Facial Astringent. It is just great, but hard to find. Suave products are the best in my opinion. Night care is EL Night Repair, EL Intensive Lifting face and EL Intensive lifting eye creme…..plus EL Idealist Refinisher.

I'm a mascara “Junkie” my lashes are sooooo bad, along with my allergies that it takes the best (Lancome waterproof with a base). Make up base is one of two kinds……EL Idealist or YSL. I know this sounds ridiculous…but I don't spend a fortune on this. I order my stuff from strawberrynet.com. They are in Hong Kong. Shipping is always free. 5% discount when you order 3 or more products and a loyalty discount with each order. They have a good inventory, all the Brand Names. I have been ordering from them for quite a while and have always been pleased.

    I'm always interested in make-up, so I have lots of stories. The big thing for me is having my face waxed. I allow myself this luxury, because IF I DON'T ……. my 8yr old grandson is sure to notice and tell me that I have a mustache!! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />

    More Later…..

MarthaC – Thanks for the great advice on the BB Cuticle Cream. I bought it last week and have been using it every night and I can already see a difference! While I was shopping for the cuticle cream, I noticed that Burt's Bees carries blotting papers, so I picked those up as well, but haven't tried them yet.

And Mimi, how funny….I order from Strawberrynet.com too. Their prices are pretty reasonable and they have free shipping, just as you said. And they carry many different brands.

Hope there's more advice to come!

    Thanks, Jeanette

Well since I am oily and prone to breakouts (STILL) I have discovered a blemish concealing stick by Benefit it is called Galactic Shield and comes in three colors. I get mine at Sephora and highly recommend this product!

    Lisa,

We must have similar skin types. I've tried many blemish concealers and have yet to find anything that works. I will definitely give Benefit's stick a try.

By the way, ProActiv has a great salacylic face wash that helps prevent breakouts. They usually have a kiosk set up in the middle of the shopping mall where they sell their products. I understand you can also order online as well.

And while you are in LV, and if you have the time, go to the Canyon Ranch spa at the Venetian for a facial. They are the best!

Tried that too, it didn't really work for me, going to try Benefit's face wash next.

Good luck with Benefit's facewash. I'll be curious to hear how it works out for you.

    Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the tip on Rockin' Rio. I found it in a mag at the salon and it smelled so yummy. When I was in LV I bought the whole set. It is wonderful best perfume I've found in a long time. My husband love the fragrance. About the “zit stick” as we call it. The VERY BEST I found is Accustick by glyderm. Any blemish is GONE in 24 hours. It's amazing! They're about $3 and I order from dermatologist Rx.
I found some great nail polish that stays on. Essie. I get it at Trade Secret at the Mall.
Thanks to everyone for all the great beauty tips.

Hmmmm….I'll have to see if I can the accustick from my dermatologist. And I agree, KK, Essie is great nail polish and lasts a long time.

Another great beauty buy is Nivea eye make-up remover. I love it and it is only $3.99 at CVS!

I use products from “Just for Redheads.” I especially love their mascara. I got so tired of having lashes that clashed with my hair and complexion. They make a ginger red mascara that suits me perfectly. I wish other cosmetic companies would think about the redheads out there.

    Hi Catherine,
Red head products. I've seen alot of them around lately. I bet the ginger color makes your lashes gorgeous. It's good to have products that blend with the color of our hair.
