Maggie, I have tried to get out of paying but the taxman got me! Even buying some of the older ones off Ebay – I suggested that you don't pay vat on second hand goods but they say anything over £30 we have to pay vat and customs duty on. Boo hoo! <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ /> This is why I really appreciate other kind collectors here who are willing to send them to us.

JUST GOT BACK FROM VEGAS SUNDAY AND THE SIGN WAS NOT IN…..
I WAS HOPING TO CATCH IT IN EARLY BUT NO…..
BEEN TO THE VEGAS STORE.
WEATHER WAS CHILLY, WHO CARES DIDN'T NEED TO LEAVE THE HOTEL MUCH BECAUSE OF THE SLOTMACHINE BUG, I WAS SO BUSY….ITS PRETTY SERIOUS THERE.

OK, no real news on the Las Vegas sign, no release date as of yet but the Estee Lauder store in Las Vegas is saying sometime in April.

The good news I have is the the Estee Lauder store in Las Vegas is now allowed to ship solids internationally, the shipping cost are anywhere between $30-$50 and US tax is not charged.

Someone from the Vegas store sent me a very dark black & white photocopy of the Vegas sign. Actually, I can't tell if it is really of the compact. Did anyone else get it?

I got a call yesterday from the Las Vegas store that they will get the LV sign solid in this Friday and will be shipping on Monday.
