    Hello everyone,

    I came across this vintage powder jar that I believe has a Bakelite handle…. on the other side of the lid is a mirror… unfortunately the mirror is cracked.

    My guess is that inside is some body powder that really doesn't smell like anything Estee… but then again… it is old….

    The powder puff had Estee Lauder stamped across the ribbon attached to the puff… it is a vintage Estee font….

    Does anyone have any info on this type of powder jar… if that is even what it is? The only marking is Germany stamped around the metal (brass) band.

    I just really found it interesting and want to know if it is indeed an EL product….

    Hi Lisa – I have never seen anything like it before but it is really unique and beautiful! What an awesome find! You always find the best stuff, where do you shop? I wonder if Estee Lauder keeps records on items produced. Maybe you could write or email their headquarters with the picture attached. I would imagine Estee would help. Best of luck!

    I happened to stumble across this on eBay… I put in one bid and got it… to my surprise…

    I just love all the old vintage stuff… Brigitte has some beautiful gift sets in her collection…
