I saw this somewhere on the chat board – that there's a dept. store that will have a promotion soon depending on how much you spend…I asked Saks and they said it wasn't them. Is it Neiman Marcus?

I'm picking up my solids at Saks (Tyson's Corner, VA) this weekend. The sales clerk, Heidi, said their birdbaths are perfect (though I doubt she's looked at each one). If you want to order from her, the number is 703-761-0700.

I also purchase my solids at the Saks at Tysons Corner. And they are running a promotion where if you spend $250 you get a $25 gift certificate and when you spend $500 you get a $50 gift certificate. This promotion is only one day – Thursday, July 29. The salesperson I work with at Saks (Haree) just phoned me today to remind me of this promotion.

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to put in that my Jay Strongwater Solids from Saks (all 5) arrived and are perfect. They came from Saks in New York from my wonderful SA Sandy. The funny thing is that my very Favorite one is The Tulip Quartet <img src='style_emoticons//wub.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wub.gif’ /> ( It is Soo Beautiful) and it is the least expensive of them all at $175.

I just saw the Strongwaters from my Saks. I think they are beautiful but they had two sets of tulips and the tulips were leaning over like the wind was blowing on them. They had two Lillies and both of those vases were leaning a bit. Not bad but noticeable. One bird bath and it definitely was leaning. At those prices I agree with Michele they should be perfect.
The chair and the humming bird were in good condition. In the end I bought the humming bird.

Very good choice, Ron. When the dust settles, I believe the Hummingbird will be the loveliest and most sought after by both Solid collectors and Strongwater collectors.

I'm sorry to hear about the others…was hoping mine were a “fluke.” Hopefully Lisa and Ann will be right…In the end, all will be well. I'm sure they're working on it.
