Don't forget all the Cosmetic Stores. See list under tab at the top labeled Store Locations. <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

I understand a new CCS store has opened up in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, but don't know the telephone number. A friend called me from the store to see if I wanted her to bring me back any, and she must have named off a couple of dozen solids (including some of the Strongwaters).JoniMemberJanuary 28, 2005 at 4:40 pmPost count: 114
Are the prices of the solids at the Cosmetic Company Stores cheaper than at the other retail stores? We don't have any in Washington. There is one a few hours away in Oregon – if I ever get down there. <img src='style_emoticons//huh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’huh.gif’ />

They use to be 40% off but I think they raised it to 30% off.
Each store has different rules about how many you can buy.
Some have a limit of $300 but it got silly when one solid may cost that much so most stores kind of look the other way or get creative about ringing them up.
Last summer when traveling we went in 4 different stores and there were 4 different rules. <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ />

<img src='style_emoticons//rolleyes.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’rolleyes.gif’ /> Well I tried looking for solids at Xmas for my Mum (elly1947), and ended up buying one off ebay for her. Apart from Harrods, you used to be able to buy them at most House of Fraser groups e.g. Army & Navy, Debenhams, Fenwicks. This Xmas though, nobody had received anything and they were not expecting any solids either. So, unless anybody else in the United Kingdom knows of any other stores, I think you can only get them from Harrods now. The downside for my bank balance now is that I have got hooked on looking at ebay every night after work to see what's for sale. Hope this helpsLisaMemberFebruary 15, 2005 at 10:38 pmPost count: 2664
Hey thanks Sprinkledoughnuts, (what a fun user ID name)
Welcome to the site!
From what we heard you are correct in that Harrods will be the only store in the UK that carries solids.
I'll meet you every night in eBay- also looking- only I look in the mornings and afternoon too !! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />KKMemberFebruary 16, 2005 at 5:27 amPost count: 876
I found another store that sells the EL solids. Dunlaps. It's a dept. store headquartered in Texas. It moved in to our very small mall. The mall owners are Texans.

That's funny, I thought that Texans only did things in a BIG way!! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />
