Thank you so much! These are so incredible! How did you begin to take display pics of the solids? Why did you start? Is this a hobby along with collecting the solids? Do you keep the scenes as displays or just set it up for the pictures? Sorry, I am so full of questions! I just find it so interesting and such a unique idea. I just have my solids displayed on glass shelves with some of the Estee Ribbons and perfume cards entwined.

My absolute favorite is the sunken ship photo!! I saved it as my desktop background. It really touched me because some of the compacts I really want are in it. I am hoping to try to get the mermaid soon. Ever since I saw her, I have really wanted her, she is really beautiful!

Hi Ann and Ken

Wow, these are great. Not at all what I was expecting. I expected a theme of solids with maybe a background drop!!!

The gator is very funny, and I love the fishtank theme. Where do you get your ideas?

OMG…Barbie in a Poodle Skirt. How great is that? Do you still have the Marketplace display? Christmas? Easter?? Can you post more…please? Have missed them sooooo much!

As far as questions , there is an article in one of the antiques mags that answers most of them ,we can try to post the article.

I was shocked at the date on the photos when we got them out .

You might be remembering the Christmas story we did with the Harrods bears.

I will look and see if we have other Harrod photos.

We have not done any new displays since moving so all I have right now are the old photos.

I would have to think you did a fourth of july with the Statue of Liberty, American Apple, Cherry Pie, etc.

Maybe a display with the different puppies of Estee…Pampered Pekingese pics?
