Kasi
Hello Kasi, Possibly some confusion but nothing to worry about! I just checked
and saw that I had asked you for the spread sheet with the prices. It is a difficult job to sell so many solids!
<img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />
You are right it is a large job to keep track of everything and eveyone's name…Hopefully by in the morning, it will sort itself out…Hope to hear from more of y'all then. I'm off the computer for the evening to watch the astro's in the world series game.
Those of you that sent your wants and offers thanks, I'll try to sort it all out in the morning. Thanks again for helping me out with my hospital bills and my damage due to hurricane Rita. You guys are the best.
Kasi
Hello Kasi
I understand you are closing offers tomorrow and I have not yet received an email with the list. If you have time could you email this to me (email addy listed in previous post). (I know you probably have toms of emails to sort through…!!)
Thanks!!
LoriHello Kasi,
I, too, asked for your excel sheet on Oct, 22, and did not receive it yet.
Maybe I should point out that I'm mainly interested in the non-Estee Lauder solid perfumes ?Please mail me your list to info@parfumminis.com.
Thank you,
AstridHi Kasi,
I think you are doing a marvelous job. I would love to have a copy of your list Lauder's and non-Lauder's. Are your “asking” prices included?
Please e-mail me at suzand1@airmail.net or SuzanneA@dcccd.edu.
Many thanks and best wishes on your sale <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

Shipping may be a little slow,….I just found a problem I hadn't thought about….as I am trying to pull solids to put them together to give you postage quotes, It is just not happening instantly….All of them were put in their boxes and the ones that didn't have boxes were individually wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent damage….and I have 4 large file boxes filled with solids…..so i have to unwrap each one looking for the right one….So Please be patient if you haven't heard back from me with shipping costs and availablity. I'm working as fast as I know how. Thanks
Kasi<img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ /> Oh Kasi – it sounds like almost a full time job!! Take it easy, eh? <img src='style_emoticons//cool.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’cool.gif’ />
<img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ /> Hey Kasi – you wouldn't have the 1994 Butterfly would you? If you did, then you wouldn't need to sell all of your others!! It's skyrocketing on Ebay right now with 4 days to go!! <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ />

I can understand why, in 5 years of scrolling ebay I have never seen one like that before.Wish I did own one, it would solve 1/10 th of my problem in a heart beat….LOL. Did not do any work on the solids wish list tonight, I will confess I was watching the world series and watching my Astros get beat. Congrats to the White sox fans on winning the world series. Well back to work tomorrow.

Hmmm….. Have been getting some emails regarding this sale, maybe the best thing to do would be to offer your solids for sale on ebay if there are no set prices. It's maybe the best way and the fair thing to do to avoid all the confusion.

It's maybe the best way and the fair thing to do to avoid all the confusion.Jack I was really trying to get out of ebay fees…they are so high, and I wanted to offer them to the group first.
I really didn't mean to confuse anyone. I just put the price I originally paid and realize I overpaid on some. So far, the people who wanted them, emailed me the price they were willing to pay( some what I paid, some lower than I paid, some higher than I paid). I have not refused an offer yet except one, which was $200 less than what I paid). She came up 85 and I went down $125 and it is now on the way out the door. I know everyone would buy them immediately if I said ok, $10 each….but that is not fair to me to lose all that money and not only that but it cheapens the value of the solids. And we all want the value of our solids to increase not decrease. And believe me if I didn't have to sell, I really would not be going thru this. But I have no choice.
I originally stated in my first post that if they were looking for the ivories they should go to ebay as they are a lot cheaper there .No way would I sell the duck for $80 like it is now selling for on ebay. I know that some of our European friends don't understand that when I list(lets take the ferris wheel as an example at $450…that is not what I actually paid for it, becuase of top of that you have to add texas tax of 8.25%…so that takes the cost up to close to $500 that I paid for it….but if someone offered me $375 or $400 I would take it , as the difference in what I could make on ebay with the same solid would be eaten up by ebay fees…So at $375 i would actually make more money on this list than at $400 on ebay because of the fees.
I came to this list first because woody had said people made him offers all the time on what he was saling. That is the reason why I did what I did. If you would like me to withdraw the list i will….but I was going about it in the only fair way to me and the list that i could think of
After this list I will then go to the Houston collectors and offer the list to them, and the few that are left after that I will probably just keep or maybe put some on ebay. But ebay will be the last resort.
If you would call me on my toll free number in the usa 1-800-880-3366 maybe we can discuss this whole thing and figure out a better way for me to do this. Maybe you can suggest fair prices for me to put on each piece as i have not kept up with the market at all. My goal is to turn as much monry as I can as fast as I can and still give the buyers a good deal, and me a good deal too

Hi Kasi
did you get to ship the drum? Can't wait
Annette in GermanyQUOTE(jardanel @ Nov 18 2005, 10:05 AM)Hi Kasi
did you get to ship the drum? Can't wait
Annette in GermanyYes it went out 11/12 so you should have it soon. I think I overcharged you $2 on postage, The post office didn't figure it the way I did at the usps site , (sigh) I'll never get this international postage right no matter how hard I try. I either undercharge or overcharge…..Just once I'd like the post office to agree with me on the price when I ship a package. PLMK that it arrives safely.
Thanks for helping me out and if you need anymore, let me know. I have a long way to go in selling them all, and ebay fees are so high, I may try selling them at overstock or at google base. Probably try google first. I put the ferris wheel at google yesterday. So we will see if they have a crowd of buyers there yet or not.
Kasi
Hi Kasi,
I know you think eBay fees are high, but you really aren't considering the advantages…think of the exposure you get – a lot more buyers go there than anywhere else. Think global…. <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ /> I personally don't think the fees are all that high myself – I sell a bit there, and find it quite reasonable – you just have to build the fees into the price! When you said you put your ferris wheel on google base, my first reaction was “what the heck is that?”. And when I checked it, yes I did find your ferris wheel, but the link just brings you to the first page of your solids, and I can't work out how to get to contact details – I don't know how you'll be able to sell from there….
I have a similar reaction to that overstock site…never heard of it before you mentioned it, and it is impossible to find information about international / overseas shipping. Do they allow it? Personally, not a great site, would not consider buying there myself as they don't have ebays standards/protection/reputation.
Just something to consider….LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION <img src='style_emoticons//rolleyes.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’rolleyes.gif’ />
By the way, I'm REALLY looking forward to receiving my skates <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />
