Unfortunately I must sell the majority of my solid collection. Between the hospital bill and Hurricane Rita, I have no choice. I am in the process of making a list, and hope to have it posted tomorrow, rather than loading it one pic at a time to the “FOR SALE” area. That would take years…LOL. Most of my solids were bought either from major dept stores, from Woody, some from Ken and Ann, and Bridgett got me a couple from Europe and then Ebay. Oops almost forgot Pamela and Doug who got me a couple when they ordered from an out of country dept store.I started collecting in 2001 and after buying that years solids from Neimans decided to collect the older ones first and then progress to the newer ones, so mine are definately from the older period rather than the newer period.

I had packed them all to take with me when I fled from Hurrican Rita and I spent yesterday, putting them back in the original boxes. So I could make an accurate list.
Here you can see why I don't have a list yet….LOL

    My Webpage

I will not be listing the ivory series as y'all can get them much cheaper on ebay.. I paid in the 300-500 range for them when I was buying them. I am also not selling the carousel as it was a gift, as was the ferris wheel.(keeping one, selling one)

I also will be listing a lot of the NON-Estee solids, as they are beautiful also and a really great buy for the collector of solids

I will be listing these at what I paid and I really don't want to lose money on them but will take the best offer available So check back in tomorrow for a list and I am slowly doing photo's and will be able to email you the photo if you wish. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Oh by the way some are signed by Bob Conte and some are signed by Jay Strongwater. Most have the boxes and some even the white boxes, but I will include that on the one list description.

Hopefuly I can fill some of your wants and needs.

Looking forward to seeing what you have!

Sorry to hear you are having to shed your solids, but I guess we all have to weigh up what's more important, don't we?

Hope you get your money back for them at least. <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />

I'm sure you will do fine with the members on this site – I know I'm interested and I wouldn't want you to lose precious $$$. I'm sorry you're having such a hard time and you have to part with your collection but I think you'll find we're a compassionate group of collectors. <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />

    Kasi,

I'm so sorry you've had to come to this decision. It looks like your collection has really come along in only a few years. I'm eager to see your list of both Estee Lauders and your other solids that you will be selling. I'm sure you will get a square deal from the members on this site.

I hope things work out for you.

Kasi – so sorry to hear that you have to sell. I know the passion and excitement that goes into building up the collection. They are all so dear to my heart.

I do have quite a few solids on my dream list.

Can't wait to see your list. I would love to find the 1994 & 1996 Butterflies.

    Thanks,

Geez guys, I'm sorry this is taking so long to get you a list, but I didn't realize how many I had, and of course I am having to do this in my spare time. I didn't realize that matching boxes with solids would take this long, plus doing a photo also doing an inventory with year, perfume, boxes, signed unsigned, no box, pink box, red box, gold box, white box….all those little details that you need to know to make an intelligent decision on what you need or want.

Hopefully I will get it done shortly( and know that I am working on it in every spare minute that I have…)

Thanks for the interest that you have shown, and I will diligently work on the list.

Oh Kasi, I've been looking at your photos trying to figure out what's there…unfortunately my pockets are almost turned out. I might be able to swing one or two though that I like… I see some roses, and a polar bear, and a sleeping cat, and the coach, and ….. and ….. and …… oh my, is that a lucky rabbit in the box? <img src='style_emoticons//rolleyes.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’rolleyes.gif’ /> I don't suppose you have some ice skates in there?

    I'm sure we're all anxiously awaiting the list <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ /> :

Yes you are right on all accounts , you have good eyes….my problem is in doing the list, I am missing a box of boxes….and we all know you get more money if you have the dumb box…I have 2 more closets to unload and then look thru for that box of boxes and then I'll give up and finish the list and photoing everything. I WILL BE DONE BY THIS WEEKEND….promise. I know the snowman has a box and I can't find it, ditto with shimmering steer….sigh..I have 89 listed so far with boxes, and I'm not thru the boxes yet. Yes ice skates and I know they are in the box. My son refuses to let me sell the drop of intuition that is in the box….he says that one is his favorite as is the rare Izzy Miakki solid, and also the ivory carvers coin and the carosuel he won't let me sale…. But the horse also has a box and I can't find it yet either…..so I know I am missing one big box that has all the little boxes in it.;….

BTW did y'all ever notice that the top of the carousel is different….Look at yours and see which way the colors go…..mine goes red, green blue….I understand there is another version out that is red, blue green.

WEll off to an estate sale and back to work on those closets that are still left to look thru for the dumb boxes.

I am sorry this has taken so long but it was a bigger project that I thought.

Here is a link to all the pics.

    http://www.pixclix.com/trey/

You can click on each picture for a link to a bigger picture . the url at the top of the page will tell you what it is…..i.e.1966 avonpresidentshonoraward.jpg will be the 1966 Avon cameo locket that was done as the Presidents honor award. All of the estee's are done with the year first and they are done in year order….the non estee's unless the year of production was known are done in alaphabetic order( to the best of my ability.) All but about 6 of them are for sale. The ones that are not for sale are Izzzy Miakki 's only solid that firm ever made, the pink telephone, the two lucite ring box type perfumes, one by Estee and the other by Francis Denny. The Ivory Carver as my son found it at an estate sale and won't let me sell it…The intuition tear drop, the carosuel, the mermaid, the magic dragon, and aladdins lamp and the royal enamel necklace, and the ivory rabbit in the box. I'm not keeping many, but just a few of my favorites..There are a total of 336. in my collection. Enjoy the photo's

Prices are on an excel spreadsheet and I'm not sure I can post it here. So if you will email me at
kasikirby@gmail.com, I will send you the spreadsheet with the prices that I paid for them

The prices listed on the sheet are exactly what I paid….Most of them were bought from retail chains with some coming from ebay. I bought a lot of the cameos from Woody, and he will tell you the price I am quoting is exactly what he charged me. I bought some from calbeanies, bbqueen, bbking, and I really can't remember who else. So make me your highest offer on the pieces that you want. I realize that the ivories probably won't sell as you can now get them cheaper at ebay, and on those I may have to take a loss. Hopefully not, but I am open to negotiations.

So enjoy and I'll email you the list as soon as you ask for it, but in the meantime, go drool and figure out what you want.

I can not figure out how to attach a list to the emails that I receive thru this site….I will have to email you at your email address. To those that sent email addresses I have just now sent the list as an excel attachment. If you can not view an excel spreadsheet, let me know and I will send it as a word document.

With over 300 solids to sell I don't know how to attach the list here.

Please understand that the prices quoted on the list, are the prices that I paid in 2000 and 2001 My aim at that time was to collect every solid picured in gerson's book( not the new estee book but the old book that included all the solids by all manufacturers.)

I almost succeeded in getting them all, but still lacked a few….the princess….lol…I have over $32,000 invested in the solids, and now need to retrive most of that money. I realize that I will not get back what I paid on most of them, but no REASONABLE offer will be rejected. But I will take the highest offer on each solid.

I realize a lot of people are at the convention. So to be fair to them, I will not finalize any order until next Tuesday. That gives the convention people a shot at these also.

I have photographed each solid with their boxes( if they have them.) So look at the background of the pic….if you see white or gold, then it means that both boxes or there…..if it is only pink, that means that the pink box is there, without the white box

The only exception to that is the stuart wiseman princess pump. I could not find the box until after it's pic was taken. It does have a box

If there are two pics of the same solid side by side that means I have 2 of that particular solid.
Most of the pics are numbered 1 ( the solid) 2 ( the inside of the solid) and sometimes 3( the label)

They are in YOP order for the estees and then alphabetically for the non estees.

If you are in the states I have a US only toll free number 1-800-880-3366
For those out of country you will have to call if you want to 713-468-1037

Email is really preferred so that I have a hard copy of what you want.

Thanks for being patient while I compiled the list and took pics. I really thought I would have the list done in a week, little did I realize it would take me almost 3 weeks.

Even if you do not wish to buy a solid, enjoy the pics
