    Hello everyone,

I wanted to share with you all my big adventure to Hong Kong… I was invited to show my collection at the APM mall in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong.

It was amazingly exciting and my hope was to expose new people to the wonderful world of collecting EL solid perfume compacts.

Below are some photos… I hope you enjoy!

On the left, my friend Marie Ang… who has an amazing collection of over 1000 mini perfume bottles..

    WOW!!! YOU LOOK SOLID!!! 😆

Hope you had fun in Hong Kong. Did a lot of people stop by and ask questions? Is EL well known in Hong Kong?

    Katita,

    Thanks!

Yes, I was asked a ton of questions about the solids… I was told they have really never seen them before and the concept of a “solid” perfume is basically new too!

I am hoping this will start a bunch of new collectors… we really need more new collectors.. it scares me that EL is coming out with fewer and fewer solids each year 🙁

    Wow! Nice display, Lisa!

You are brave travelling internationally with all those solids! I freak out when I'm carrying one overseas!

Thanks for sharing the photos. You look well.

    Hi Lisa

Just now got to see your photos from Hong Kong. GREAT!!

How in the world did you get your “stuff” to Hong Kong???

We did a display at NM in Texas over the summer and it was a pain and we drove there. LOL

Would you like to see some photos? If you are going to do anymore “shows” and need some displays we would be glad to loan them to you. We are retiring LOL. To much work.

    Thanks Ann, Ken & Sandra,

I carried the solids over on the plane with me… I was so scared they wouldn't let me on with them… or that they would stink up the plane, but no problem… I did get checked at security but they didn't even ask about them!

Thanks for the photos of the displays they were wonderful!

Awesome pics, you look great! Hope you're feeling as good as you look. Am blown away by all the Christmas decorations, never thought it was a big holiday there.

The holidays decorations were AMAZING! Here are a couple more… my hotel decorations and walking around the city at 10pm by myself… I felt so safe the whole time!
