Hello everyone, my name is Caroline and I have just joined.

I actually started by collecting the EL compacts exclusive to Las Vegas but my (now) mother and father-in-law bought me the black cat on gold cushion perfume for my 40th birthday.

My (now) husband and I took them to Las Vegas to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary which was the day after my 40th birthday. As you can imagine it will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Have you any special ones out there?????

    Hi Caroline!!

    Welcome to the site!!

The solid that means the most to me is the tea cup, back when I got it, it was so very hard to find and went for so much $$$, I came across someone overseas that contacted me about selling some solids and think I paid $80. It is however the International version but my all time favorite solid. It means a lot to me because it took so long to come across it and love it more in person. Someday I hope to get the US version with the pink stones. <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />

My favorite is also the black cat on cushion. It reminds me of my kitty Sheba, who died of cancer at five years of age.

Hello Caroline, Another greeting from the U.K.

My sentimental solid is Prince Charming.

I must admit to having other favourites too. I wish I could limit my choice to one, but it is very difficult. So many treasures to choose from!

Welcome, Caroline! So glad you started this post.

I've written about this before, but my most sentimental solid was the Peacock from last year. It reminds me of my Grandmother, who kept peacocks on her farm and who I simply adored.

    Hello Caroline,

    greetings also from Italy!

Well, it's difficult to say which one is my favourite, but at this moment I would say that is the flower cart even if it has no sentimental thought.

The one which has a sentimental tought is the Taj Mahal remember me my trip to India.

Oh there are soo many and sometimes I even forget which ones I have,
But if I had to save just one I think it would be the Birds Cage.
I tried very hard to get that one, when I was a child I had a silver charm on a braclet just like it and I loved it…
    Nice topic <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />
