I was wondering…is the little ball that comes with the roulette wheel enclosed in glass or does it just stay on the wheel and can get lost? Lisa

The ball in the roulette wheel is fixed to black 11 under the top.

    Going to have to play that in Vegas!! <img src='style_emoticons//tongue.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’tongue.gif’ />

Thanks, Lisa…..but then how does that make the roulette wheel one of the movable solids..or does it? <img src='style_emoticons//blink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’blink.gif’ />

Barb, the ball may not move, but the wheel does (or should).

    Black 11 is a winner more than occassionally. Go for it Lisa!! <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />

    Hi 2cute4u2,

    Fixed on Black 11 ??

That is really strange because my roulette wheel solid moves and the ball is enclosed in plastic and when you spin the wheel the ball rolls all over the wheel and lands on different numbers. Now my compact powder has a glued pearl on lucky number black 7.

I got your message about your new solid but have been busy – congratulations on your new solid jack in the box !!!

I got a new solid today can you guess which one!!!!

    Hi PeanutNutter:

    I bet it's the rocking horse. Am I right? <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />

    2cute4me,

No, I did not get the rocking horse – keep guessing… not even close … but it does start with an “R”

Sanda posted her ball was on black 11 too… Does that mean there is an International version and an American version?

    Mary,

No, only one version of the roulette wheel.

I wanted my ball to move so I hit the solid on the edge of a counter- now the ball moves, better! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />

    Dear NutterButter,

    I must be having another blonde moment <img src='style_emoticons//blink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’blink.gif’ /> Humm let me think.
YOU GOT THE ROULETTE WHEEL! Yippee for you! Mine's on its way from Singapore. <img src='style_emoticons//tongue.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’tongue.gif’ />

After reading all the posts regarding the moving or non-moving balls…I emailed the seller of my roulette wheel and was assured that my ball moves freely and the spinner thingie spins nicely.
So…now I'm really confused as to why some balls are stuck on 11 and yours and mine move freely like a real roulette wheel. (As my seller stated to me in the email I received from her today)

Perhaps you are on the right track with the American vs. international versions. EL has been known to do that with other pieces.

Hopefully, the experts on this board can explain this phenomenon?

With mine, I think the ball just got stuck. Hard to tell though without anyone else responding. <img src='style_emoticons//sleep.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sleep.gif’ />

    Lisa,

Wow, you hit the side on the counter .. I was laughing to myself – I could just see you – Move ball Move.. I bet all the balls started on Black 11 they are so small they probably needed to put them on one number to check them for quality control.

Glad to hear your ball moves too….

My roulette ball moves but it was a bit tricky to get it to hit lucky number seven <img src='style_emoticons//tongue.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’tongue.gif’ /> I wish real roulettes where as easy to tamper with <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />

I will check my ball later! 11 and 7 are good numbers for me but I turned down going to a casino last night. Wish I had visited the site yesterday as I would definitely have gone and played these numbers! Aah well! Next time!

My ball moves freely along the upper track of the wheel. When you spin the wheel, it then falls into a numbered slot.

The Roulette Wheel is an amazing solid when you look at the intricacies behind the design, quite remarkable really.

    2cute, you're gonna love this solid. <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />
