ELEPHANT.

I have checked mine and will double check against the above information from Brigitte and others.

I have the elephant with the red enamel coat, red eyes blue tassle containing BEAUTIFUL. The box is the little gold box with red label on the back

This one was isssued in 1992 with the circus box and it was issued at the international market with the same Barcode but a different box in 1993.

Up to about 2002 the international market got the solids only 1 year later than the US market. Some times the items were the same as the US ones, but sometimes they had less rhinestones f.e. the tea cup, the teapot, some of the fruits etc. Mostly they had the same barcode, but they always had a different box, as E.L. took the box from the US issues and they had different labels on the bock of the box. Sometimes they also had different fragrances.

Well, I'm confused once again (doesn't take much :huh: ). Brigette, Zooey, Jacky, anyone who can help?! I just saw an auction on ebay for a 2002 Golden Elephant containing Beautiful MIBB. The photo in the auction shows a white box, a circus box and the elephant has a red blanket, red eye and blue tassel. Was the Elephant reissued in 2002? Is the seller the one who is confused? Sorry to keep asking but enquiring minds want to know!

Hello Wendy,

I also took another look when I saw the box as I had not seen the box with this particular solid. I have the solid but in a different box…

The sellers are not collectors so they can make a mistake.

Funny you brought this up as I did do a double take….

Another big thank you for your prompt answers! According to the listing this seller is selling on behalf of a collector (she also sold the rare 1994 Butterfly) but I still wonder when the date is SO far off. The seller is also listing empty boxes for compacts she has already sold that the collector “just found”. 😮

Enough of elephants! Brigette, I love to spend time on your site – you've done an amazing job! Of course, I've spotted the 1994 Kitten with the gold collar that contains Tuscany per Donna. Please forgive me for being so bold as to ask if you have an extra (even without a box!)? My “Cats” scene is missing that one and I would love to be able to add it. Please let me know and I completely understand if one is not available. Thank you!

this black cat on pillow was issued in different years and with different fragrances:

1993 with Beautiful, Knowing and Spellbound

1994 with Tuscany and White Linen

Here comes the link for the so called cat meaow, pink

EBAY: CAT MEOW

which was issued in 1995 with Pleasures. I think $ 115.00 is not too bad of a price, as the original price was $ 200.00.

Sorry, but I don't have an extra one.

Hello, again, Brigette!

Thank you again for all your help and I apologize for not being clear about the Kitten compact I am searching for – it's the 1994 beige enamel sleeping Kitten with a gold collar containing Tuscany per Donna. I think it must be a rather rare one or all the cat lovers are keeping theirs!Thank you for your patience and for your graciousness!
