The October Traditional Home magazine has a nice article on a perfume collector named Petar Forcan. He mostly collects bottles, but he has solids, too and a few are pictured in the article.
If you are lucky enough to live near the Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, part of his collection will be shown in the exhibition “Making Scents: The Art and Passion of Fragrance.”
Its a nice article with some beautiful pictures.LisaMemberSeptember 23, 2010 at 2:58 amPost count: 2664
Thanks for letting us know… I would love to see her collection!ArMemberSeptember 29, 2010 at 1:57 amPost count: 502
The article link:
I'd love to have his lighted display shelves! And I like his quote that he'll never part with his solids…”they even feel good to hold.” But note… he only has 100 solids. I think a lot of us surpassed that long ago!
BTW, you can enlarge the article at the top with the little + looking glass.
