Older Compacts

Hi everyone

Just minutiae really but I have always been curious to know if the earlier compacts came with a pouch? I only own one older compact and there is no pouch and no place in the box for a pouch. Perhaps they were stuffed in the lid??

Would love to hear from y'all

Hi MitziMay,

according to my experience they started in about 1980 to add pouches and in the early 1990's with speical places to hold them.

But I guess they started earlier, but the pouches just were lost before the sellers sold the compacts.

Maybe anyone has other experiences….would love to know too.
