Lisa, or anyone else that knows,
Is it true that Nordstrom's will not be selling any solids this year? I know Lisa had mentioned it when she was at the convention in June. I usually buy the general distribution ones there. The only other major department store here is Bon Macy's and hopefully I can get them there.

Hi Joni,

Yes, it is true that Nordstroms will no longer carry Estee Lauder solid perfume compacts. The reason given was that EL felt Nordstroms didn't display them properly. <img src='style_emoticons//unsure.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’unsure.gif’ />

My local Nordstrom (The Mall at Columbia) is cramped for space in the cosmetic area and had the solids under the counter.

Mine too. The only time I would see the solids displayed is during the holidays and it was a small display.

I was just at the EL counter at Nordstroms over the weekend and the salesperson indicated she would contact me when the solids arrive. I didn't have the courage to burst her bubble and thought it was a shame that she has not been informed of these changes. <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ />

Hi Colette,

The exclusive that was going to be Nordstroms is the blue boot. The retail is $200 and can now be purchased through the Las Vegas or New York Estee Lauder stores (contacts above under the yellow store location tabs) <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />
