Mmmmm . . . .reindeer with a red nose sounds great as does the Owl . . . and did you say $80.00???
Do ya reckon Rudolf's nose will glow (or be glittery?) <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />JoniMemberApril 25, 2005 at 2:14 pmPost count: 114

Cool! I can't wait to see the reindeer and snowflake! They would pair up nicely with my snowman. <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />
Time to save money AGAIN! <img src='style_emoticons//rolleyes.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’rolleyes.gif’ />ArMemberApril 25, 2005 at 10:03 pmPost count: 502
Actually, I'm disappointed. EL keeps doing the same things over and over: elephants, monkeys, dragons, butterflies, dogs, cats, etc. If they review this website, they'll see we've suggested new and original ideas.

I agree with you Ar, like you said we have seen the cats, dogs, butterflys, monkeys, dragons, elephants, parasols and gift boxes.
There are so many things/items we have never seen before.
I am happy about the reindeer and snowflake- new things!!
This past post topic of themes was great from everyone, I think EL should take a look at it for some really, really fantastic ideas!

Thanks Lisa, for the list of the new to be issued solids.
According to my opinion we should not talk about solids we'd like EL to produce as they WILL NEVER take any of our suggestions because they are afraid they would have to pay something to the person who has made the suggestion.LisaMemberApril 26, 2005 at 2:54 amPost count: 2664
You are correct, so they can now only produce more cats and dogs!
If I remember a reindeer and snowflake were already discussed here! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />GigiMemberApril 26, 2005 at 5:10 amPost count: 219
I totally agree with the last four posts. Brigitte, thank you very much for your post as EL has already cut costs as much as they can on our solids. For example, look at the newer solids don't have as much solid perfume as they once did. Lisa, you are correct as a reindeer and snowflake were discussed here at one point in time.
A big thank you to Jardanel and Lisa for posting this important information to us. I always get anxious this time of year to see what EL has come up with, the price point of all of the solids, the detail or lack of detail. Its always interesting to say the least. For me, the general distribution solids are exciting with the holiday theme. On a side note concerning the reindeer…about 10 years ago my husband and I took a trip up to Alaska. We toured a reindeer farm which was fun. The farmer told us, in December the only reindeer to have a full rack of antlers are pregnant females. Yes, Rudolph in reality is about to become a mother! Talk about a shocker to learn of this reindeer fact. For me, Rudolph will always be a male. So when and if you get this solid you can make “it” any sex you want to! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />

I'm also looking forward to the reindeero, but if it's a general distribution solid, it may not have the “bling” that could make it outstanding. They skimp on those. I'm a pessimist – but would love to be pleasantly surprised!!!

Yup, agree with you again on that.
Remember when just a couple of years ago the GD solids use to be just as good as all the others?
To me 1999 was the last year of decent GD solids.JeanetteMemberMay 3, 2005 at 8:33 pmPost count: 296
Oh my gosh….so much for curtailing my spending. I can't wait to get my hands on the new Strongwater solids!!! <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />
