New-old Fragrance

Saturday a new EL Rep at NM Galleria store advised me of a fragrance being introduced early in November. Said it was a lighter version of Youth Dew and was being called Amber Nude.

Remembering the nice Fantasy Flower for Beyond Paradise fragrance I inquired if there might be an accompaning solid for the introduction of this fragrance. She had not heard if one was being issued but will try to find out and get back to me. Anyone here know if we might expect one?

The Rep. did mention Tom Ford as the designer. I don't know what that meant, bottle, fragrance, solid?

What I have heard ( for what it is worth) is that a solid will be a plain gold round case with some kind of lines on it. $350 ( for the designer name) and will launch their new fragrance Amber nude.
Already a sample is on Ebay even though it is not suppose to be out yet.

$350! £200 approx! More than the English Emblem cost and that was limited to 130 or thereabouts and it does have bling bling!

In my opinion limited to EL is- limited to as many as they can sell. <img src='style_emoticons//tongue.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’tongue.gif’ />

I am never falling for the limited thing again, not even with the Harrods solids. A truely limited piece of anything is numbered on the solid itself or with a hang tag, other than than the word “limited” should never be used.

GOOD GRIEF!!!! 350 for a plain one? The beatiful Fantasy Flower necklace for Beyond Paradise was only $125. The plain gold Aromatics Elixir from Clinique that just came out for an anniversary was $40.

This one is no doubt going to be very limited edition –very limited in sales!

Just heard the Tom Ford solids will retail for $150 from Donna at Bergdorf Goodmans. Donna explained the solid as following: the solid is going to be very simple and classic looking with the ribbed design with a amber stone where the solid opens.

The solid will be available around the 25th of October and she is taking reservations now.

Saw a picture of this one, so it will be on sale here! I recall it was high priced but cannot remember how much as it was so plain that I didn't pay too much attention! <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ /> I did not see the part with the amber stone. All I saw in the picture was a ribbed gold ''whatever'' and was told it was the new Tom Ford
design!

Was told it will be expensive…….and obviously it will be higher than the ones
sold in the States! Will try and check it out in more detail….

She included an article on them in her latest Powder Puff newsletter. I am at work and don't have a copy with me now. Yes the solid will sell for $150.
