Hi Everyone,
Haven't posted in a long time but was in Las Vegas last week for my son's basketball tournament. So, I did as I always did in year's past, I walked to the Forum shops to stop by the EL Store. However, to my surprise and shock,
/blink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’blink.gif’ /> the store was closed. There was a sign in front of the store saying that it closed on July 19 and gave some manager's number to contact. Anyone aware of this? Anyone know why this happened? I used to look forward to my LV EL store stops to see all the beautiful compacts.
Hello,
I got a letter back in June from my EL Sales lady saying that the store was closing. I am sure everything has to do with the economy. Estee Lauder also had a store in Dallas, Texas that was closed last November. The only store now is outside New York City.

Will give Micky a call at the Manhasset store tomorrow and see what's up, but I had heard that the LV store was closing. <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ /> Guess this means no more Las Vegas Solids….boooooooo….
Did NOT know the Dallas store was also closing. Anyone have access to Lauder's 2nd quarter financial report? Would be interesting to see. <img src='style_emoticons//cool.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’cool.gif’ />

In case you are intersted in the EL companies corporate web site and financial statements with all kinds of financial talk…go to http://www.elcompanies.com. That will get you into all kinds of official information. On May 4, 2009, EL Companies did release a report on Fiscal 2009 Third Quarter Results. The below link will get you directly to this report. If that doesn't work, you can go to the investor page on their site, then click on to the news & releases tab and then look for May 4th.Its getting real late and I haven't spent a lot of time on their site, but the sections I did go to was interesting. Nope I'm not going to invest in the company as they only give out a once a year dividend of $0.55 cents USD per share. Even in these economic times, I can do better than that with other companies and get a dividend every quarter. <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

You HAVE to be joking. <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ /> I do better than that in my checking account!
It's sad.
The economy isn't doing too well. Plus, rent in Caesar's Palace has got to be astronomical.
greyhound? Is it really you? We've been looking everywhere for you!! <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ /> Do try to pop in from time to time, ok? We miss you. Still remember your story about Holidays at your house…and it still makes me laugh. <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />
Good to “see” you again… <img src='style_emoticons//wub.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wub.gif’ />
I saw the Little White Chapel at the Cosmetic Center today.
Ar<img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ /> Nice – Talking about all these solids in the story makes me want to go out and buy all the ones that I am missing ! (And that's one of them !) Is it on sale? <img src='style_emoticons//cool.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’cool.gif’ />
I didn't price that particular one since I already have it. Their prices are usually 15-20% discounted. I believe you can call the individual stores and have them mailed. This store was at Prime Outlets, Ellenton, FL.
They also had the locomotive, 2008 butterfly, and several others.
