My Number one choice is a greyhound dog. It could be laying down; or Vegas exclusive with greyhound(s) racing. It’s difficult to find quality greyhound items in America. It will be a “cross collectable” because Greyhound collectors will be interested also.
I would like more fruit especially jewelled. Examples: a vine of grapes, banana bunch, strawberry, kiwi, etc.
Blueberry pie. Similar to the cherry except a slice cut out.
Animals: kangaroo, humming bird, blue whale, grizzly bear, elk, reindeer, tiger. It would be interesting if grouped by continent. Right now the Zebra and Giraffe are perfect for an African theme.
Chinese Zodiac made in enamel and a few crystals (3D not flat).
How about more exclusives? Instead of department store related ones, maybe country/regional ones; sold only in the area, so the desirablity increases.
Are there any Lauder solid designers or influential people reading? If so, remember Greyhound solid…Greyhound solid…Greyhound solid.
Hi,
I agree with the last comment concerning exclusivity. If there were hundreds of the Mona Lisa would they be worth as much? Would they be as interesting?
The rarer the item, the more collectable and the more interest it generates.
As for the Estee Lauder solids, I doubt that collectability was in the mind of the company in producing these delightful keepsakes. As far as the solids produced solely for Harrods, these are collectable as only a certain amount are produced and once the quota has been fulfilled, they are never repeated.
As for a new solid, I would love them to produce a sitting buddha as I do have an interest in unusual pieces of this nature. My next thought would be a rose as it happens to be my favourite flower. How about a beautiful diamond and ruby ring. The list goes on and on!
Enjoy,
Jacqueline
Sounding good-
I like the ruby or diamond ring and the humming bird!
Let’s hear from everyone!!

I forgot, my Vegas exclusive would be a pair of jewel encrusted dice
I definately agree that more exclusives is the way to go. I like the Statue of Liberty and the Harrods Palace and would like to see more buildings and landmarks. I could see the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, and the Sydney Opera House for starters all with lots of sparkling crystals.
Perhaps a little purse bulging with money would be good – and not necessarily in a solid! lolYes I like the sound of a pair of jewel encrusted dice! Perhaps we could also have the loot – a pile of green jewel encrusted notes and gold coins – a winning hand!
I like the idea of themes – a Jungle theme with all the different animals & perhaps a jungle tent & safari vehicles.
A snow theme with huskies pulling a sled to go with the igloo & snowman.
Greyhound would like to see a greyhound I would like a samoyed – Lisa this could end up costing us all a fortune. Aussi GirlIf you could pick a design for next year’s solid what would you pick??
I would like to see a:
lipstick, gold case with red or pink stones
wedding cake topper, bride and groom
martini glass with olive done in lucite. What’s your design, let us know

Hi all !
I love animals .
Hello Jay Strongwater can you hear me.
Please create a snake wich is rolled up with enamel and beautiful crystals. I’m waiting for a lizzard too. What’s about a little mouse eating a piece of cheese ?
A little sea-horse and a starfish would be a nice addition to the sparkling mermaid and the octopus.
What could I add for the Vegas ones
I think that Lisa’s dices are the best idea .Let us write a letter to Estee Lauder – maybe some
ideas will picked up.
Greetings !
MichaelaHere are my ideas. Who knows maybe someone at Estee is listening.
A jeweled Great Pyramid
A Canopic Jar ALL TO GO WITH KING TUT
A Enameled and jeweled SarcophusFor Vegas
A crap table. Make the felt the same texture as the peach
A blackjack tableFor Vegas exclusive on Estee
A Blue Shopping bag w/the Estee Logo–Sold only in Vegas & NY and LIMITED IN NUMBERWOW!!!!
YOU PEOPLE GAVE THIS A LOT OF FEEDBACK!
WHAT WONDERFUL IDEAS WERE EXPRESSED. HOW CREATIVE YOU WERE IN SOME OF THE SUGGESTIONS FOR THE ESTEE PEOPLE TO THINK ABOUT.
I AM GLAD THAT THESE ARE NOT BEING PRODUCED (YET)
I WOULD HAVE A HARD TIME CHOOSING WHICH TO BUY.
BEST THOUGHTS TO EVERYONE!
GAIL C.Ron,

Here’s my “short” list:
Empire State Building
Seattle Space Needle
Mt. Rushmore
(You get the idea, I think it was mentioned by Fee? buildings and landmarks) this would be nice because I also collect souvenir statues from America and other countries.Trumpet
Flute
Clarinet
Saxaphone(More musical instruments or musical items)
P.s. I love all of the suggestions that have already been mentioned.
How about a design for each of the 50 states, like the quarters (not all at once) a couple every year. We already have Georgia, New York and Nevada.
