Hi Lisa and Jack,
I turned on to Fox news tonight, it was this time last year that the
hurricanes started, hope that you have not been hit too hard, I believe there is
another on the way.

Thanks everyone for thinking of Jack and I, luckily the storm wobbled 30 miles south of us so we only had some wind and rain. We didn't even lose power but my internet access was just restored now at 7 pm.
My thoughts for everyone in the Panhandle where the storm is expected to strengthen to a possible cat. 4!CharlotteMemberAugust 26, 2005 at 11:13 pmPost count: 179
Lisa and Jack,
happy you both are safe.
Tonight I heard on TV about the storm in Florida and I was worried about you.

Glad you are safe!!
Now the thing is headed for us!!!!!!
We are spending the day packing up, boarding up and generally wringing our hands.
If you could only save 10 solids what would they be????Might start a new topic. <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ />

Glad Lisa and Jack are OK…let's hear from the rest of our South Florida friends!!GigiMemberAugust 27, 2005 at 4:27 pmPost count: 219
I agree with Woody's thoughts and am thinking and hoping this hurricane if it hits Baton Rouge will be a lesser strength so Ann and Ken will have no property damage and you will be OK. I understand if our South Florida friends may not have internet access, but please let us know when you can. I feel one of the good and positive strengths from this board is that we do care about one another. Take care everyone.

Glad you are safe Jack & Lisa <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />
That is rough being without a computer Lisa.
I was without mine yesterday for about an hour and it seemed like forever. <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />
Hope our others members in Florida fair as well as you and Jack did.
We are just getting rain here in Ohio now.
Take Care Everyone! <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />LisaMemberAugust 28, 2005 at 2:54 pmPost count: 2664klassicguy1MemberAugust 28, 2005 at 3:55 pmPost count: 520
I have been glued to the Weather Channel….this looks like a serious situation for all the folks on the Florida panhandle to Mississippi coast…GOOD LUCK ANN & KEN!EllyMemberAugust 28, 2005 at 4:36 pmPost count: 113
Good Luck from me too Ann and Ken, even though we are on the other side
of “The Pond” we think of you all.
Last year we were lucky to take our vacation in Florida after all those hurricanes,
and hope when we come over in October this year we shall be just as lucky.
One never knows the weather is so unpredictable.
