Hello all,

I have a question for the experts:

How can I find out from which year my solid is ?
I bought a “Fantastic Voyage” or a “Ballon” (I don't know), the red one which is filled with Tuscany per Donna. How do I know if it's the one from 1995 or the re-issued version from 1997 ? And, do you really care for this detail ?

Hi Astrid,

According to Roselyn's Book, only the Pink Balloon was re-issued in 1997 with the Tuscany per Donna Solid, so my guess would be that yours is from 1995.

It could be from either 1995 as the Fantastic Voyage or the Balloon from 1997. I guess there would be no way to tell usless you had the box as the boxes must have been different. <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ />

Does anyone know how the boxes “have to” look for the different versions ?

Astrid,

in 1995 EL issued the following named fantasitc voyage:
Pink, Beautiful
Red, Tuscany
Blue, White Linen

In 1997 they were issued again, but mostly only with the square Las Vegas gold box. I do have a red one with Knowing (no box) and a blue one with Youth-Dew (LV gold box) , but I don't any of those with it's original boxes, if they had any.

My one is in a typical EL box, so it must be from 1995.
