Lacy Seas violin picture

HI Everyone! I am so glad I read the chat tonight. I had put several of these auctions in my favorites. as I was deleteing them I was looking at the photos and the violin picture has Lacy Sea's mark on it. Now this one has ended and the seller has relisted with a different violin picture. Thanks to all your keen eyes, I didn't even notice the different backgrounds, but the sick wife story did have me a little leary. Thanks everyone! Donna

It is confusting. Can you believe? Putting a collection like that out all at once! 50-60 of some of the best pieces all starting at 99 cents! Some one needs lessons in marketing skills as well as photography.

I looked at the pics…I copied and pasted them and enlarged them. They are fuzzy. However, I noticed that each one casts a shadow on the gray background and the shadow appears to match that of the solid.

The pics look legit. I also notice that there are bidders on a few of the more desirable and sought after pieces. Am tempted to throw in a bid myself.

So…it this person legit or not?

If it is true about his wife I feel very bad that they will not get much for some of the solids. They might make up some on others but it still looks like a bad deal for them .

I did ask about the “open box” statement in his discription and got a fast reply. Open box means no box on the new items he put on ebay.

Anyone live in Arizona??? That would be the only way to know for sure is to go his house and see the stuff.

I've just had a quick look at some of his feedback and noticed that he is still buying as well as selling (but no solids there yet, and no names I recognise). So that doesn't make sense . . . .

I'm also wondering why he doesn't have a reserve, etc. I think people are being weary so I am almost certain people will be conservative with their bids . . .

To quote a good friend….. “Looks like a junk dealer” most of the stuff this person is buying is Barbie items and is selling makeup.

I am not a solid expert but something looks really wrong with this – I have never seen that before (must be hard to check your make up with all that stuff on your mirror).

I just checked out the mirror, too. I dont like the tone of the listing and coulodnt help but wonder WHY the signature would be on the mirror of the compact? Anyone else wanna chime in on this?
