    Hi everyone!

I have a few EL Solid Perfumes, and I was looking them up when I came across the pictures on this site. So I figure there's got to be quite a bit more to this site than just pictures, and lo and behold, there's an entire community!

Anyway, I have a quick question. If I don't have the box for a Solid Perfume, about how much does that affect the value of it to collectors?

I have duplicates of a few of them (my husband worked for Estee Lauder last year in their warehouse), but they don't have boxes, just a plastic baggie, and a velvet draw-string bag. I'm not by any means a hard-core collector, I only have 7 different solid perfumes, and I don't mind that they're not in the box.

If you need specific information about which compacts I have (and may consider selling soon). Let me know and I'll post them :-).

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello May_cup,

    Welcome to the site!

As a reply to your question generally the solids from the warehouse sales are not worth that much because they don't have the perfume, label, outer white box and gold box.

Thanks for the welcome <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ /> And thanks for answering my question.

I have a few labels for some of the perfumes, but alas, not very many, but they do all have perfume in them! There's like one solid perfume I've got that is mint (both boxes, the perfume, and the label). <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />

Its nice to know there's a place like this though! I think the solid perfumes are so cute!

    Thanks for the info!

Hello May Cup and welcome! Would be nice if you are joining our community to know where you are based . Many of us have met at Conventions or under different circumstances which is great! At least we know where we are coming from which does help as regards trust, buying and exchanging solids etc. which I am sure you will appreciate.

Look forward to hearing more from you!
