As per what I have written yesterday, all the Harrods Solids are there except for the bear…..

I have phoned Harrods on the 14th, my credit card statement has come in showing I paid, but there is no sign of the solid yet even though I live only 1 hour flight away. Does anyone have their new solids yet and what do they look in real life?

Has anyone received their Harrods bear? Everytime I call I'm told a different release date.

Harrods called me earlier today. They never call me unless my cc didn't go through. <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> I've been very lazy about calling them this time around. They saved me the trouble…and long distance fees. <img src='style_emoticons//tongue.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’tongue.gif’ />

Anyway, I ordered the Harrods solids today. I think Alison's assistant told me the bear arrived? Don't really remember. She said that my solids will arrive in 2 weeks. Not sure if it would be the same for everyone else.

Hi All:

Today was a special day! Mail delivery was resumed after a 3 day interruption by hurricane Wilma. And – two Harrod's solids arrived!

I really do love the English Bulldog. It looks so typically John Bull – Sturdy and Determined. The coppery colored enamel makes it much more attractive in person than the pictures.

While not as attractive as the Bulldog the Palace Guard is nice. From the side he looks as if he is stepping out of the shelter. Of course, it is best to remember that I don't think I have ever met a solid I didn't like.

Will be anxious to hear what you think of them.

From what we are told they will only be available in Houston and Dallas NM stores, so I am not sure about them being sold elsewhere.

STOP PRESS: I have spoken to Alison today and she has confirmed that all orders will be released on Monday – Hope you can BEAR the wait. The wait is well worth it!!!!!!!!
