Got a call from the wonderful Miss Gini tonight. She let me know that this Thursday through Saturday at Saks in Bal Harbour is friends and family night and everything purchased in the store is 20% off. And yes, we are talking powders and solids.

I was told this wasn't happening this year by my SA's and am rather upset that I could have saved an additional $100 minus the $100 gift card that I got.

Lisa: Thanks sooooo much for sharing this information. I was not planning to purchase many of the solids this year — too expensive, but, now I just might have to call Saks. I love almost all of theirs just like last year.

On another note, I have always loved this website and appreciate everyone's work and passion for these perfumes. I used to run all over the San Franciso Bay Area and also try to locate the perfumes on the websites, but once I found this site, I am like in “pig heaven.” And, I love to indulge every once in awhile (usually as little more often than just once in a while). My obsession with these little treasures began when some members of my family were here at Christmas and my sister received the White Linen frog from mom – I can't remember ever being so jealous until I opened my own. <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ /> That was the beginning, and who knows where this obsession is headed from there.

Hi Lisa:

I just wanted to thank you again for letting all of us know about the Saks Friends and Family event. I purchased and have received all five of the 2004 Jay Strongwater solids. I love them all. I am planning to use a couple for Christmas (if I can ever part with them). It was such a treat to get free shipping along with such a bargain.
