Hi everyone. Donna from Bergdorfs sent me a color flyer of the new Fall 2008 solids and powders. There are a couple of great ones! My fav is the Dancing Bears. I am using a new software to share the photos. If it doesn't work, I may ask someone else to post.

Hi Pat. I hadn't noticed that, but indeed, it is a new fragrance. Here is what I found on the internet:

The new fragrance by Estee Lauder – Sensuous, arrives in July 2008. This fragrance is moving the boundaries from already well known Estee Lauder floral notes towards opulent oriental woodsy-amber concept, which will praise the beauty and sensuality of women of all age.

Sensuous is created in cooperation with the nose Annie Buzantian of Firmenich, which composed it of sensual lily notes, magnolia and jasmine petals in the top. The heart brings aromas of molten wood and amber, while the base introduces sandalwood, black pepper, juicy mandarin pulp and honey.

Thanks for the info and pictures Woody. For me the new fragrance “Sensuous” was the surprise but a very nice one. Now we just have to wait to see/hear the Saks Fifth Avenue ones to be announced. This has always been the time of year to get info on upcoming solids–exciting! <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />

Thank you for the pictures!!! It was exciting to find a powder compact design by Strongwater, why haven't they thought about that before? I am very curious to see if Saks will have any Strongwater powders as well. Also, I like the Russian solids very much – the cathedral must be inspired by the cathedral (don't remember it's name) at the Red Square in Moscow, don't you think? And I thought the Russian dolls looked cute too. I like the theme with sightseeing around the world and I'm so glad they are continuing with it. Well, it looks as if christmas shopping can become quite expensive this year….

Margaret, I was curious about the Las Vegas exclusive also so I called the store and the sales lady said there wasn't going to be a Las Vegas exclusive solid this year. This is a different story from when I called the last time about a month or so ago when they said there would be one. She said they were getting in some Erin Lauder solids. Has anyone else heard anything different?

Not another Train, Fish and Butterfly in the 2008 collection, come on you guys at Estee Lauder where is your imagination??? The Dolls and the Dancing Bears look good but not sure if I will rush out and buy them.
