Hi Everyone:
Well…here goes. I just came across a Harrods bear (empty no box, no tags) on ebay. Here is the auction item (I hope it's OK to provide that information. If not, please accept my apologies). #5609123817.
Hi Jackie… I noticed that you also posted something today about this but under “Mad at Estee Lauder” category.
So…anyone want to take a guess as to how this is happening? I will email seller and ask how this was purchased.
YIKES!

I have also sent an e-mail to seller of Harrod's Bear , just waiting on a reply.
Will let you know the out come.
Elly.
Sorry if I posted under the incorrect heading. Will stay with you here on this one! Waiting to see the outcome of your emails. Remember these were
supposedly limited to 500. Will have to check!QUOTE(Jacqueline @ Aug 22 2005, 02:28 PM)Sorry if I posted under the incorrect heading. Will stay with you here on this one! Waiting to see the outcome of your emails. Remember these were

If these were limited ot 500 and this one isn't one of those…I shudder at the thought! <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ />
I think the reply from this seller will be something like- the solids are from jewelery repair lots purchased from EL- at least this is what this seller has stated in the past.
The correct number for the bear is 400 and not as previously quoted.
Now how many rejects are going to come out of the woodwork!

Seller replied about the empty Harrod's solid. Here's her answer to my question:
Hi… never had any perfume in it. Box is lost.Yes!? Box is lost? My foot!
Now here's a thought…….. With these solids we receive a certificate STATING only 400 produced! Now if these start flooding the market this becomes
something else………Lisa, do you remember when there was mention of a head count? It wasn't followed through. I recall something was suggested… I have more than
one of this item too.I think this little ''mistake'' puts the spotlight on the seller! Expect she is feeling uncomfortable now!

I don't think Harrods would be pleased if this were to happen and it affected their orders! <img src='style_emoticons//ph34r.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ph34r.gif’ />
Hi All,
I had a reply from seller this morning, saying that there was never any
perfume in bear, no boxes etc, also that it wasn't puchased from England.
Elly
HERE WE GO AGAIN…….
ANOTHER HARRODS PALACE ON EBAY…..NO BOX, NO PERFUME, NO STAND, NO ''NOTHING'' AND GUESS WHERE FROM?
OUR OLD FRIEND IN RHODE ISLAND!
THIS IS RIDICULOUS WHEN THEY ARE
LIMITED………..NUMBER ON EBAY: 5615054480
Elly, I had a different reply from the seller of the Bear. So they weren't the Bare facts at all!

Must write down the seller's reply to my query as to no perfume, no stand, no card and no box.
Quote: ''Just what you see. The box, card, perfume etc., is gone. I'm lucky I didn't lose the Palace ….thanks..''
<img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ />
Ha ! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> Well that's pretty witty actually . . . but they still aren't giving anything away! But WE know anyway, don't we? Tch! <img src='style_emoticons//blink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’blink.gif’ />
This really makes me <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ />
I thought the Harrod's pieces would be spared from the “empty solid syndrome!”. I know it has only happened twice, but that it 2 times more than it should have happened.
This is just TOO MUCH!!! <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ />The seller of the Palace is the same person who was selling the empty Teddy Bear. Her reply to my question then <img src='style_emoticons//wink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’wink.gif’ /> re the Teddy Bear was that she was visiting a friend who gave it to her as a present. As she has to get her son through College she is selling..
