I wondered if anyone collected other things apart from estee solids. I know some of you do, but what is it you collect?

If I had the money I would also collect Faberge Eggs, and there's some lovely snuff bottles about too. I'd also like to collect rich men as well. VEGAS LADY

    OH DEAR SHARON….. <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ /> just don't ask…. <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />

Old powder compacts, perfume bottles ( Goya and Russian ) I just love the presentation boxes of the Russian perfume bottles but they are hard to find over here.

Oh yes Sharon…… Weak men! LOL

Gone on to collecting some perfume bottles (no compacts Margaret), and a few miniature bottles but with a theme (do not know how to describe what I am trying to say)! No comments Sandra!

My buddha collection has been neglected.

    Great question!

I collect the Estee Lauder heirloom glass boxes and other interesting EL boxes. I have recently began collecting perfume cards and ribbons. I just need to find the right album to begin displaying them.

Another great favorite of mine is Kirk's Folly jewelry! It is incredibly whimsical and sparkly! Many of the pieces are made with various crystals that are light catching and the themes are wonderful! I also have two Kirk's Folly ornaments by luck both of which are dazzling fairies on ribbons with charms.

Above all my favorite collection is the wonderful group of friends that I am collecting between this site, my miniperfume yahoo site and my pekepals group. I cherish the stories, dreams, photos, jokes, compassion, care and even the arguments over different views! There is nothing more precious in life than having great friends and love!

This is one after my heart. Were it not for John Audubon am afraid there would be very few bird lithographs to collect! Have been trying to capture a video of a Hummingbird at the feeder for ages but have yet to succeed! By the time I grab the camcorder and get it “ready” the little guy has flown the coop. Speedy little things, are they not! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />

Will keep my eyes open for lithographs of them for you. I believe, but am not sure, that Audubon did some in tin-type…will have to look into that. He was also the first to “band” birds for later identification.

    I'll shut up now. <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />

Not sure but think she is referring to the blue/gold Estee Lauder ribbon wrapped around some of the solid boxes, especially when we order them via internet or over the phone.

    Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong….well, not really. <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />

Wish I had known this a couple of months ago Brigitte! My friend had a whole collection of old miniature whisky bottles. We threw them out! <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ /> They were a collection which belonged to her mother (not a drinker by the way) and I really thought they were not worth anything at all. She really wanted to sell them! Thank goodness she does not read this site otherwise I would really be in trouble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    That's ok, Brigitte. I'm not that picky. I'd be happy to empty them for you…this is what friends are for! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />
