Coming Strongwaters

Hi All

Jay Strongwater was at my Saks today displaying and signing his beautful creations. He was his usual charming, gracious self and signed my last solids. Said he was doing two perfumes for Saks this year, a Cinnabar Foo Dog and a bonsai tree. For Neimans it is an old fashioned gramaphone with a crank that actually turns. Am sure they will be a good as they sound. I just can't resist any of his designs and my favortie of his changes from day to day.

That sounds great! The Foo Dogs are my favs of the Ivories, and I love all the Strongwaters. I can't wait!

Thanks so much Phyllis for this information–really appreciate it since I am a fan of his work as well. The upcoming solids sound real interesting, but I am going to hold off further comment until I see pictures of them. The most important thing for now is now we know what is coming out later this year. <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />

Thanks Phyllis for the information. I did hear some time back that Jay Strongwater would not be working with E.L in the future, so this does not
appear to have been correct.

Thanks Phyllis for this information! My favorite solids are the Strongwaters and I also heard a rumor that he wasn't going to design for EL anymore, so glad to hear that he is coming out with the Foo Dog (I bet it will be fantastic!) and the Tree, wow! <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

I also met Jay Strongwater a couple of times in Saks for signings and he is so nice! I heard he bought a house in the Hamptons (Long Island), good for him! We talked about the Condo's in New York City and he has a Condo not far from where my baby brother lives (unless he sold it by now).
