    Hi everyone

I've got the oversized sun bonnet (one I am regretting buying!), I think they forgot they were making things for the borrowers on this one!!! Petals

Perhaps the Flower Cart, which I think was limited to Harrods.

Agree it is an awkward one to display and the box as well. I did sell mine for this reason.

    Maybe the Parasol? Help! <img src='style_emoticons//ohmy.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ohmy.gif’ />

I was going to say put bonnet with boat ride, but there is a bonnet in the boat. How about the spirited bicycle ride solid…

How about trying it with the slippers, the victorian boot and the silver straw hat and make a dress accessory theme out of it? <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />

I forgot about the parasol, that's a great idea Margaret! How are things in the UK? We have had the worst winter in the Northeast ever!!! 50 in of snow in 2 weeks! Finally a break today, it's feeling like spring. My bulbs are popping up and it felt very spring-like today. A huge relief for all of us to say the very least. I hope your winter was not as dreadful as ours.

    Hi Connie…. <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />

I think this has been the longest, coldest winter that I have ever known, it seems to be going on for ever. We have not had the amount of snow you have but what came down stayed around for ages due to severe frosts….even last night was -4 for us, there are signs of Spring but its sure a long time coming…… <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

We also had a very long cold snowy winter – I still have snow piled in my backyard. It's been sunny here the last couple of days, which is nice. I'm hoping for an early Spring, so I guess it's true, Hope Springs Eternal! <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ /> I'm really in need of the colors of flowers and the greens of trees!!

Yes, even here in the middle of London it has been absolutely dreadful. On Saturday I had to go out of town and whilst waiting for the bus, tears were running down my cheeks due to the cold wind. I have never known a winter like it. The wind has been biting and everyone has had enough! Normally I am away at this time of the year and this year without exception, I should have been but……..unfortunately am here! If it goes on much longer, I and a thousand others, will just hibernate!

    brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

We have had the nasty high winds as well. The weatherforecasters here have said it is the result of ” El Nino ” Hopefully ” El Nino ” will be leaving in March, or we will have a sweltering summer. The last 4 days have been lovely, in the 60's, well above normal. We are expecting rain over the next few days, I have never been so glad to see rain in my life! We turn the clocks back 1 hour this weekend, so I will be glsd to see the longer days as well. Have you girls in the UK seen or heard anything about the new Harrods solid celebrating Estee Lauders 50 yr association with the store???

I have seen a picture of this new solid and to be perfectly honest it reminds me of another one which they released some while back. Once I have all the details of the older one, will let you know but do not want to put incorrect information here if I can avoid doing so.

Also I believe it is very high priced. It is not one which I will be buying.
I shall be going to Harrods in the next few days and will have another look. Will write more then. <img src='style_emoticons//cool.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’cool.gif’ />

Can't wait to hear what you found out at Harrods Jacky. It will be very interesting to know, especially if this solid is anything like an older one. I know we have talked about new release solids looking like older solids here on the board. However, its been awhile. Meanwhile, here in Montana a department store is having a special sale today. If you bring in clothing which has been slightly worn or no longer loved, they donate your item to the local Goodwill store and will give you a 15% coupon off on all cosmetics (EL included). So I plan to give a couple of shirts to the cause and buy some EL lipstick, eyeshadow and perfume for 15% off today! <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

Our weather in both Montana and Wyoming has been mixed this year depending on where you are at. Everyone is looking forward to Spring. The last four days we have had 50F temps and the younger people are out in shorts! <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> Where we are at in Wyoming, the snow pack level in the mountains where we get the water run off is 45% below where it should be. Its not a shortage level yet, but we watching it. We still have to get the usual spring snow storms to provide moisture in the mountains. Both Montana and Wyoming are predicting we will have lots of grasshoppers (more than usual) to live with this summer. That's OK except if there are a lot, those hoppers will start to eat the grass on which livestock and other animals feed and depend on during those same months. Oh well…still life is good and I'm off to the EL counter now to have some fun! <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ /> Good day to everyone.

Thanks for your suggestions. I got a new cabinet today, as my 1st one turned out to be too small!!! I've collected 50 solids now much to my husbands disaproval, and I've been told to stop spending for a while. <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ /> So I wondered if anyone wanted to swap one slighty used husband, good for putting out the bins, good health (if you exclude allergy to kitchen) and all his own teeth and hair (for now). I will consider any reasonable offer but would prefer a rich one with a very poor memory. <img src='style_emoticons//blink.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’blink.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ /> If no men like that are going spare I wouldn't mind a carousel to finish off my fairground.

Anyway back to subject, I've put my problem sun bonnet with the strawberry which is also quite large and my watering can. I have to make do with what I've got. They do seem to match though.

    Ha Ha Daisy….. <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ /> I will give you a little tip…. <!–emo&<_<img src='style_emoticons//dry.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’dry.gif’ />

The secret is with these husbands is to fool them into becoming collectors themselves.

Mine retired about three years ago and he had always wanted to build a train layout. For his retirement pressie I bought him a very large Garden shed/ Summer house…..What do I have now, a very happy hubby who spends all the time he can with his trains and weekends going round toy and antique fairs looking for stock to add to his layout. He now spends more than me on his hobby…….so you see its all in the training with a bit of mental suggestion thrown in…… <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ /> <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

    By the way

    No cabinet is ever big enough…. <img src='style_emoticons//laugh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’laugh.gif’ />

    Oh for a big shed <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />

I've only been married 11 years so my training is still ongoing, and it's a long hard slog <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ /> Maybe I need to switch his OCD into something constructive rather than annoying.

    As the A Team said I feel a plan coming on <img src='style_emoticons//ph34r.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’ph34r.gif’ />
