Hi everone..I just heard from Ros Gerson that the compact convention is scheduled for May, 19-21, 2006 in Atlantic City, NJ! Those rumors about the Las Vegas Boardwalk Hotel being torn down were unfortunately true. I am sure it will be the same fabulous event as always! Watch for details on the convention with hotel info in the next Powder Puff Newsletter. That's all I know for now…

Thanks a whole bunch Woody and Ros for the pre-2006 convention information. Its always good to give out dates since some people need to know months in advance to allow it on their schedules. I have been to a couple of those conventions and YES they are always great to go to. Ros, Alvin and their helpers always do a superb job pulling everything off in great fashion. Concering the Las Vegas Boardwalk Hotel where the convention was held at, the MGM/Mirage Corporation will tear it down next month (Jan. 2006) in order to make way for a big hotel/condo/restaurant/retail shop development called, “City Center” to be buildt in various stages in the forseeable future. Nevertheless, Atlantic City is fun with the Boardwalk, Atlantic Ocean and I was just there in September.
