The cat and I get along fine – as long as I accept that he owns everything. Anything he is not to touch must be locked away, as he frequently opens my dresser drawers and inspects everything, turns on appliances (dishwasher, microwave, washer), and cannot be trusted with any paper products at all. And yes you're quite correct, he will knock anything he can find onto the floor when he is bored. I also collect snow globes, and he has broken one of these – the rest are now “blu tacked” in place so he can't move them….the only good thing about all this is he forces me to be neat and put things away.
