So as you do not have to worry about condensation and you have the shelf space, you could make up a different scene whenever you felt the urge to do so!

Am editing this as I just had a thought! If you had an Aquarium like Ken and Ann's picture and if the shelf was wide enough, that could work in the confines of a small room? Their UnderWater Treasure Picture, or KK's Beach in the Members Photo Gallery. I did ask them if it was an Aquarium, but think it is something they have done with a sheet of perspex. Perhaps they will read and reply. This was just an idea…
