Hi everyone,
Thanks for all your kind words and advice. All my payments were made thru’ Paypal. I doubt it very much I’d get any help from Paypal or eBay since it’s pretty hard to proof the conditions of the solids prior to shipment. I did ask the seller if I could ship them back for a refund…and of course I didn’t get a reply in that direction. I did consider going to the post office for compensation, but that would make me an ‘accomplice’, wouldn’t it? In any case I would look like a fool if I were to take these solids in their perfect boxes to the post office and say ” Hi guys, I think my solids were damaged during shipment in the post, can I have some of my money back please?!” You would need somebody with extraterrestrial power to damage the contents without damaging the boxes! [Puzzled] I think the problem with some of these sellers are what may appear trivial matters to them are serious matters to us. This solid with the ‘black eye’ looks so sick is almost like its’ been infected with a fatal virus. I dare not even store it with my other solids [Eek!] I do appreciate that solids do age, but not like that! Well! I should know better now, I’m only going to buy from sellers with positive feedbacks from fellow collectors from now on. I better stop babbling on or you’ll all fall asleep. [Sleep]
