Hahaha Michele. Not trying to burst your bubble.

I've sold most of my solids at low prices (less than other sellers). Hey, I'm not a business person. I just clear out my collection when I get tired of certain solids. I usually choose the more common or 'ugly' ones. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I start bids low to encourage bidding–less than what I paid. This lowballing rarely works with solids (at least for me). I price the better ones at the absolute least amount I'm willing to take.

Personally, I don't care about fancy pictures or descriptions or who the seller is per se. Just look for solids I like at affordable prices from people with good established feedback. I don't discriminate (except avoiding 0 feedback sellers). I passed up some darn good deals from these 0 feedback sellers.

This summer seemed like a bargain basement sale. I should have taken advantage of it. I've been wanting a certain non EL solid for 3 years now. I didn't pay attention to ebay at the time and missed out. It went cheaper than normal and those pesky dealers didn't bid this time (and they weren't the ones selling either). Lost my chance. Shame.
