I’m very angry and excuss my “Oscar the Grouch” post [Embarrassed] , but I need somewhere to vent. Anybody experience any of these situations? Here are my eBay complaints:

1) Deadbeat bidders – a bidder used buy-it-now first, asked questions later. She answered my end-of-auction email and gave her address. I proceeded to pack (which reinforces why I usually don’t pack until payment arrives). I wrote half dozen emails. They ignored me. I’ll now proceed with non-paying bidder notices….must wait a few days to finish it off. This is highly disappointing because we’re talking about a $95 perfume bottle. Never had a deadbeat from the Netherlands, so it’s highly unusual.

2) Lazy sellers – I wait 3-5 days without notices. Now I must beg them for total and/or mailing address. Note, these sellers have less than 100 items. Don’t sellers want money? I’m ready to pay fast.

3) People who don’t keep promises and waste time – Someone sends email every time I list solids. They don’t bid; they wait until the auctions end and try to get discounts. This isn’t so bad if, I overcharged and knew it….however, I’m breaking even on these reasonably priced items (sometimes doesn’t quite cover ebay fees). One time they were interested and committed to a solid under $200. I asked for the same amount as the auction–maybe with a $5 difference. They asked if I’d accept paypal. I said no. (I don’t accept paypal for higher dollar amounts because of fees and fear of chargebacks that I can’t afford.)Their email didn’t match any ebay accounts. Never heard from them again. Throughout all this they wanted me to respond right away, but they took their sweet time replying. Of course, they were not considerate enough to say “I’m no longer interested”. boohoo [Mad] [Mad]
