I thought these tickets were just for EL employees, their friends and family members. BUT, I found something interesting in a google search. Apparently EL gives a bunch of these tickets out to educators, campuses, and other organizations. Here is a recent one I found Suffolk Community College Faculty Association. (Click on the September 2005 edition of “Word Online” to view; it's on page 3.) Here's another one for the sale in July 2005 announced for the whole campus at Stony Brook Univerity in NY Campus Announcements for the Week of 7/18/2005. (The announcement of the event is about 2/3 of the way down.) Here's an older one from 2002 where they handed out tickets to an organization that serves the disabled PSCH NewsLine. (Look at the top of page 4.) Was anyone else aware of this?

If EL is just handing out passes to their “private” warehouse sales, no wonder we're getting flooded with cheap solids on Ebay! <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ />
