Maybe I am off base altogether on the purpose of these little packs. It has been my belief that gel or similar packs, were to prevent moisture from accumulating in the package, box or whatever. by attracting any moisture to the pack. This would keep moisture away from other items in the package. If that is so it would seem to indicate that it could indeed cause the perfume to dry out. Since I, and I know many others, keep the solids in a display case would it be better to keep the gel packs in the empty boxes or throw them away? Would it matter one way or the other? Have we any scientists in this group? Does anyone know an expert on this subject? Maybe someone less lazy and more adept than I could research this on the internet? <img src='style_emoticons//huh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’huh.gif’ />
