Hi Martha,

The last we heard was that Mr. Conte had figured out a way to fix the solid. Probably just stick a stone in the hinge hole. It must have not worked because the stores that sent them back have not recieved replacements as of yet. [Puzzled]
The octopus is now at the outlets so they must have given up. Also we were told that it was not a good seller. [Puzzled]

As with all imformation coming from EL this may not be reliable. [Suspicious]

Neiman Marcus has a good return policy. Up to a year. Good reason to buy from the store. [Smile]

We kept our octopus.
