As far as hurricanes go… just be prepared way ahead of time because the week before the storm hits supplies are scarce to say the least. Look for a home, buying or building with CBS construction (concrete block structure) they are stonger and stand up better to storms.

For the heat and humidity is not bad at all, if power goes out get a good generator and a small AC for cooling one small room where you, your solids and prints can stay! So far nothing has effected my solids and we lost power for four days before & they were fine all on their own.

No need to sell anything, most people just need to adjust to the heat- Jack and I are both originally from CT and we settled in fine. I love the heat!
